SINGING VALENTINES Since 2000, the chapter has joined with the Seneca County Unit of the American Cancer Society in a fundraiser to help fight cancer. The Singing Valentines event has produced an average of $3000 each year and has been channeled through the Cancer Survivors Group, a Relay for Life team. The Chapter has provided two quartets who deliver the singing valentines which include a love song, a personalized card, home-made candy and a red rose. One quartet fills the orders in and around Fostoria as the other quartet delivers in the Tiffin area. The cards are computer generated by our SV chairman; the home-made candy is made by the Cancer Survivors Group; and the roses are donated by Flowerland, a Fostoria florist. The Fostoria Ladies Garden Club arranges each rose in a vase with baby's breath. 2011 Singing Valentines will be delivered as near to February 14 as possible. Keep checking back for the 2011 prices!
